All budget laptops at this price range comes with this kind of battery and nothing so small about it. Dell Inspiron 5000 14 and 15 inch model, Lenovo IdeaPad 340, all have similar capacity battery.

How frequently are you downloading large files on your local network? Very few people have internet that can even saturate 802.11ac, let alone something faster. If you're moving a lot of files on your local wireless network then it may make sense, but for most users this isn't remotely an issue

This looks good? How are the quality on these? If it was an ASUS I think I would snapbuy. I had a bad experience with a HP Pavilion a long time ago (like 7+ years ago).

Pretty decent Build quality, performance and moderate battery life, similar to this class of laptops. Check the below review for better undertsnading.

4gb+8gb is a thing? I thought memory was always equal pairs, or singles.

Yeah, and that won't be great for the Vega 10 graphics on this model, which improves with true dual channel RAM. You can upgrade, but is the 4GB soldered on the motherboard?

It looks like the 8gb could be, as you can opt for 8gbx2.

That battery is incredibly small. The 13" Ultrabook posted earlier has a 4 cell 60 watt-hr. Expect maybe 3 hours battery life, max

You will want to upgrade ram so that you get dual channel in order to get full GPU performance. Plus Vega will use around 2gb of ram anyways so only 10gb are going to be available in this current configuration.

None are soldered. I mentioned this to have 32GB max and how is that possible if any of the Ram modules is soldered.

This still runs on dual channel in Flex mode.

FYI, the coupon works on the 15t Pavilion as well, takes 5% off. Great find!
