This IS faster than the vanilla 970 EVO but not the plus. It's also the same as the ex950 but not the sx8200

Not like you're going to tell a difference between the six drives mentioned in our posts outside a benchmarking program because these are all performance drives
However, in terms of Sustained Write performance, end 2 end, (which is really the ONLY metric that will matter to end users)

In the picture ex950 is not listed, but it's ~10% faster than the ex920 listed. which is the same as the s11pro / sx8200
The graphic linked shows them writing whatever GB of data and the graph showing the speed of the last 16GB. It basically makes a SSD's cache irrelevant even though the cache can be as large as 128GB.
The average enthusiast user would be a gamer who, at most, updates or installs a game or two at a time. They're unlikely to come close to using up 128GB cache so if they write under 128GB of data their drive is essentially performing as a SLC drive and thus caches are very useful. Your metric puts a cache at zero value.
They would care more about windows or game load times. Thus random read
Also that picture is extremely flawed because it's comparing 240/256GB drives to 960/1TB drives. Quadruple the memory means quadruple the lanes means quadruple the write speeds. Theoretically. (there's still limits with the interface and controller) Look at the sx8200 pro spec sheet. The same drive has 1200, 2300, and 3000 sequential write speed depending on the size
