I'll just never understand why USA network only released this and Psych on DVD while the show aired in HD... Great series though.

I dont think the earlier seasons aired in HD - but could still be remastered to 4k if they really wanted to but nobody is going to buy any blu rays when it can be streamed (included with prime). It's not like its an action movie I desperately need 7.1 sounds and 24 fps in 4k

I purchased the digital HDX version a while back and then ripped it to my local NAS for playback on my devices. All eight seasons are HD with 5.1 surround as they were aired on TV. Typically the person who buys physical media wants the best without streaming issues like blocky compression over a slower internet connection.
