This is one of the few shows that I felt stayed consistently good through the entire run and it didn't overstay its welcome. I still think the later seasons are weaker compared to the first few, but it didn't go to complete trash like so many series seem to.

why is only apple tv able to offer these discounts. I thought when shows went on discount, it would be across Fandango also.

It under stayed its welcome. The last three books are the best in the series. It also includes a substantial time jump so people are still hoping it will come back.

I get you; I did the same thing. Watched the show through season 1 and didn't have the drive to continue. I thought it was okay but kind of puttered out.

Then I tried to pick it back up some time later and got addicted. It gets really, really good in the few seasons after 1. Ended up finishing the series and loving it.

Yeah i've tried like...3 times to get into this show. I've made to S2 and it just got so bored i had to stop every time. I hear so many good things about the show but i found the characters dull, the beginning of the show you are just thrown in, so many characters and storylines but i felt it didnt go a good job of introducing them. I loved Babylon 5, Farscape, Stargate, Star Trek shows but this i just i couldnt get into. Maybe its because its so grounded i dont know. But i thought some of the acting wasnt great, like the Holden guy. Maybe ill try again someday but i have so many shows to watch, i doubt it.
