micro-B isn't bad persay, it's just technically the older standard (current is type C). Power delivery is also new-ish charging standard that many new devices use, particularly laptops.
For example the Anker 10,000 battery was recently this same price and it had type C charging as well as 18watt power delivery (often abbreviated as PD).. so while 18watts isn't blazing fast, it could be used in a pinch to power my laptop (Lenovo c940). Whereas that would be impossible with this ravpower unit.
Aside from all that, I have many ravpower products and find them to be of fine quality. They will bend over backwards just like Anker to make you happy if there are any product issues.
The 10,000 mah chargers are an excellent size in my opinion give you a solid 2ish charges on most mobile devices, extremely portable (fits in a pocket with ease) and will get pretty much anyone through 1 to even 2 days of no wall power which serves 80% of use cases for portable power needs.
I have several ravpower devices and have had zero issues with any quality issues.

How many amps/volts is your laptop's original charger? And how fast can the anker 1000 charge it?
