Arris SURFboard T25 modem with voice $150.00
Amazon has the Arris SURFboard T25 modem with voice for $150 ($200 - $50 coupon)

This is from a previous post that had it listed at $164.93. I couldn't figure out how to revive an expired post. Credit goes to EVR.

It's now down to $150 after coupon on amazon. That's $10 cheaper than the lowest CCC price of $160.

The T25 is a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem – the newest technology being offered by cable providers – with 2 telephone lines for digital voice support, plus 2 1-gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting to a Wi-Fi router or other wired devices. It's capable of bonding up to 32 downstream and 8 upstream DOCSIS 3.0 channels or 2 x 2 OFDM DOCSIS 3.1

Thanks for posting OP. Some more information - this product has a Fakespot F rating. It's been the same price for much of the last 3 months (chart attached).

You're forgetting the $50 clippable coupon that brings it down to $150. I picked this up back in December on a 1 day deal for this same price, it's been rock solid on my 1Gigabit Comcast service.

Thumbs down for no built-in wifi. Might as well rent to potentially save on caps and get a crazy fast AC router that blows away most of the negear/acus/linksys models at 450Mbs+ plans.
Its a cable modem not a router. Other then that not all cable companies support Netgear/acus/linksys. Better to own your own modem and router anyways unless you plan on not using internet at some point, its basically a necessity now.

I think you are missing my point... IF you have Xfinity there is a chance that renting their gateway (modem + SUPER fast AC router + VOIP lines) excludes you from monthly data caps and from having to USE another wifi router.

Sure, it would be optimal to use the gateway + your own wifi router for security, but renting for high bandwidth customers is optimal across the board.

I am not an XFinity customer, but try using NVidia GeForce Now using 20+ GB/h, Shadow, or other game stream services without buying a $250-350 wifi router. Then you need to buy a modem with 450+ service and that puts you over 350-450 (or higher) or you could just rent and not have to worry about anything.

If you only use a small amount of data then you don't need a DOCSIS 3.1 anyway.

WoW.. Are you saying by renting their modem, you have no data caps? We only use ComCrap for internet and pay $100/month for unlimited data. We use Youtbe TV and Google voice for home phone. Unlimited is like $50 more than normal. If I can lease a modem for less than $50/ month I would get the same/or better service?

You have to use their gateway and pay for XFi Advantage ($20 more per month but includes the gateway). Also, the last time I checked, it was only for the central region (which is also southeast to midwest).

For what is worth, I got this back in December and it has been good to me. I connected it and forgot about it. For me the two advantages are:
1. It does NOT have wifi. Yes, that is a plus.
2. It is not for Comcast.

Thank you so much for posting this. I wasn't aware of this option and have been looking to switch off my Business to a faster residential and keep unlimited data via $50 add on.

I looked again after you mention this, and you are right. For me (West Coast, SF Bay Area) it shows I can add Xfi rental for $10 additional with unlimited data.

Code:
Equipment & Services

xFI Advantage + Unlimited Data
$10.00 / mo

$10.00/mo for 24 months, then regular rates apply

I just checked for me (West Coast) and it is available.

Just checked today and I'm seeing it. I think someone started a new link today posting the same deal.
