Faster Read/Write
Utilizing the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the SE800 can hit read/write speeds of up to 1000 MB/s*, making data transfers fast and furious.
* For optimal performance, the host device must support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and have UASP mode enabled. Actual performance may vary depending on the host hardware and its software configurations. ( Test Platform: MSI Z390 gaming pro CABOM with Intel core i7-9700, Benchmark Software: ATTO v3.05 )
And similar SanDisk device would be:
SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO [amazon.com]
Was it the se800? Where did you find it for that price?
Thank you. That is super fast. 2x faster than my 500gb sandisk that I am using as an external on my '18 Mac mini.
Edit: Wondering if I can get the advertised speeds. The mini has USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps) ports. Anyone care to speculate? Maybe I'll ask in the other thread.
Edit 2: Apparently, 'USB 3.2 gen 2' is the 'Technical term' for 'USB 3.1 gen 2', so they are actually the same thing. https://www.tomshardwar

How long do those last how many years? Kind of tired of burning movies to discs, maybe I will get something like this to store movies.
