Not sure why I was down voted... I picked up the Reverb GTX jacket for $68... Google any other Gore-tex down jacket and everything is over $100. How is this not a solid deal?

It says GTX Infinium. I have never heard of this, but it says GTX Infinium water resistant as opposed to waterproof. Maybe that's why??
So apparently Infinium is water resistant not waterproof, but that makes it also breathable as opposed to regular GTX. So maybe good for light rain and snow but not exactly for skiing or falling in snow?

Even still other two are 2L Gore at under $100. I went with the gtx Infinium down jacket because I'm looking for a windproof down jacket made of quality materials. Waterproof isn't a high criteria for me in a down. I've had much more expensive Gore down jackets that say they are water proof but the down ends up getting soaking wet anyway because of the multiple baffles and seam design of down jackets in general.
Never heard of Dakine before OP posted this deal and I shop at Dick's all the time. For these prices, I am willing to give it a chance. Though I wish the Dakine Reverb was available in M. Thanks OP.
