I Have the bottom drawer for years now and finally this one is on sale again. The drawer handle has ridges which is different than mine bottom ones which are smooth. Minor detail but it did bug me a bit.

Some of us still have a Sears within 10 miles radius and if you are looking for a quality top chest this may fit the bill. I especially liked the power bar+usb for the rechargeable tools.

I tried a few zip codes in the Northeast and can order through pick up in store option (19087, 19430, 13825 etc)

They changed how they distribute the points now. A couple of years ago you would get all the points at once. No more freebies!

Not even that, at end of last year they did 4 installments of 25. As if that wasn't already painful enough to use, now 10 installments of 10.

Yeah your right. I ordered the fantastic deal they had on the craftsman workbench in December and got $100 in points in $25 installments. I used them for misc hand tool purchases. $10 is not shopping money but more like a coupon to apply to the total.

They closed 3 of the 4 Sears stores here locally last year. You would think the remaining store would be a model store as far as the tool dept but it is the opposite. Empty pegs throughout the dept, Organization is horrible and it looks like a going out of business store in the tool dept. Sears is history as far as bringing people back into the stores. The best I will do is travel to the Sears store for a online pickup.

Yeah, I got a decent deal on a garage door opener last fall. My old-asz Genie was dying anyway so I got a spiffy new belt-drive Craftsman w/ wifi. Totally didn't need all the features but the price was nice and I even remembered to use $75 of the $100 in points, $50 of which came in time for extra Christmas presents.

But at 10 installments of $10, they can keep it. I know there's no way I'll make 10 separate Sears purchases on their schedule, and there's no chance I'll remember to use most of it. Store pickup is a no-go for me, too - no Sears within 45 minutes, and the nearest one often isn't included as a free store pickup option, for some reason.

Maybe they shouldn't have closed most of their stores then, or stopped making sure the few they left open were neat and well-stocked, or sold off their best brand so we can buy Craftsman tools at any one of the more convenient bajillion Lowe's. It's like they really don't even want to exist anymore.

Problem with keeping the stores neat or well stocked is the employees. Who wants to work at sears? No one so they lower their standards of accepted accociates. This makes for less than desired employees aka unemployables

Yes, the 100b100 expired on 2/29 at midnight central time, so you just missed it.

They usually whip out a new similar deal soon after one expires, so watch for that.

Use the points on an item for $10 and then dont pick it up, call and cancel after you've placed orders over several weeks (they hold your order for 30 days), the points will be added back to your account with a 30 day timeframe to use, so you could stack up 40 bucks in points, kinda a lot of work but the best way to get the usage out of this crap
