Stocking up for Corona virus

Hey guys,

Is anyone stocking up on "survival items" in fear of the Corona virus? So far I haven't, but I see a lot of the supermarkets empty from people like that here. Are the fears warranted, should I do the same?

Back on topic...

Haven't been out of house since long before virus. Shocked to see store shelves emptied. Walgreens had multiple shelves completely wiped out. More shocking was the cashier who couldn't figure 25% off, even with a calculator. Facepalm

Some TP was on the shelf. Only took enough to meet promo price.

Went to BJ's yesterday after work looking for beef for tacos. They were clean out of:
- TP
- fresh chicken (and I mean EVERYTHING)
- ground beef (but not steaks, cuts)
- butter
- bread
- potatoes
- nearly out of bananas (couple bunches left)
- Ramen except spicy flavors
- most soups

A local grocery store was mostly unaffected except for TP, but I hear this AM their fresh produce was cleared out.
