Stocking up for Corona virus

Hey guys,

Is anyone stocking up on "survival items" in fear of the Corona virus? So far I haven't, but I see a lot of the supermarkets empty from people like that here. Are the fears warranted, should I do the same?

Well my spoiled dogs do get a hard boiled egg everyday so laugh out loud ... I can't fault him on turkey. And if you change their diet too quickly they will very likely have tummy issues.

But I was just referring to the different brands and specific kibbles. Again, if you just start them on a new one it can cause tummy issues.

My dog takes an Rx food for bladder stones I get from Chewy; a bag is like $85. Actually I don't think Chewy has sent me an email about their response.... probably one of the few companies I've dealt with in my life that hasn't yet laugh out loud

I've encountered ground turkey a few places, but been a while since I saw any ground beef. I'd like to have some this weekend or next week, we'll see how that goes!

I think they are mostly using those as an "outer cover" for the REAL masks. All else fails, even a cotton mask will be better than nothing, plus it's reusable.

If cashier's are using gloves and touching anything and everything and protecting themselves, I'm not sure I want them touching my groceries. Gloves are overrated if not replaced frequently.

If you can find them they tend to be overpriced especially for how many you actually get in each box. I bought 5 boxes to donate to a local nursing home that is running extremely low. I only wish I knew how to sew so that I could help even more.

You can also create a sanitizing solution with 9 parts water and 1 part bleach and just dip a rag in that. The solution only lasts 24 hours so you have to remake it every day, but it can be a good way to stretch out your supplies.

Wow. Amazon has been taking 4 days to deliver groceries when it's normally a 2 hour delivery window. Not only just scored delivery for tomorrow morning (many open slots) but picked up a 12 pk of toilet paper.

I think people are eager to get out of the house but I also suspect money is becoming more and more of an issue.
