I have Mad Age & This Guy and honestly it's worth the pennies. Decent little NES Bomberman clone without the multiplayer modes. Good for about an hour of entertainment before getting repetitive but like previously stated time is money so you could be spending that time on better games.

I've played preventative strike and didn't like it/kinda sucked at it, but purchased VSR because it at least looks interesting and frankly quite visually beautiful. Worth the ~1 minute of work to pay for it.

None of this crap lol. Crash team racing and sonic racing are probably the best for your child.
