1) pretty sure these do not require cell service, just needs a clear path to a global positioning satellite
2) yes, no signal equals no signal
3) you don't know how to code
4) what is this ulta4k phone you speak of?
5) 7" would basically be a small tablet... the Galaxy S20 Ultra is only 6.9"
How is a dedicated GPS not good?
Some people think that you just want to use your cell phone as a GPS. While that works, I like having a dedicated unit. If you drive thru an area with poor cell service, your GPS will still have the traffic map.
BTW I have this model (50LMT, no dashcam) and it works pretty well.

does it not run off cell service?? no signal = no signal? unless its all GPS loaded, but then why arent our phones?!? ima go code an app that lets you use your ulta4k phone with 7" 4k screen as a dashcam, this is stupid....

I have a dedicated GPS, too. I'll use it in my second car that doesn't have built-in GPS.
Most times, using a cellphone for GPS is fine, until you get a phone call while trying to navigate exits. Had that happen to me just last week.
Can this GPS be used as a commercial truck gps? Are truck route maps installed?
No. And using a consumer GPS in a truck has resulted in many accidents in the NYC area where trucks whose drivers were using a consumer GPS got onto a highway (no trucks) and hit an overpass. The drivers (many of whom apparently did not speak English) blamed the GPS.
