In a store near me at deal price, however, after reading some of the top reviews I wouldn't/not going to take a chance on this. Thanks for posting though !!

My parents have this fridge and they have the ice problem talked about in the reviews. . Samsung cut them a check to get a fridge but they continue to use it.

I have this fridge, the model can have major issues with the coils freezing over. $800 is a good deal for it, but I would suggest making modifications to it immediately to avoid have the coil and drain tube freeze over. A simple piece of copper wire or the following part should be able to prevent ice build up.

Wicked price. But my Samsung fridge has the freezing issue mentioned in reviews (have to defrost every 6 months or so, losing food if not careful) and this week the ice maker stopped and won't reset (also mentioned). And it's about 3 years old. So I'm out on Samsung fridges for a long time. And you should be too, or at least be warned.

Yeah, i agree, samsung appliances are complete trash. Even at 800, if it only lasts a couple years (and gives you trouble before it dies) it's not a deal. I have a stormwash dishwasher from them- it just strait doesn't clean my pre-rinsed dishes, and just the other day my sisters samsung dryers heating element had to be replaced, it's not even a year old. Never ever again, at any price point would I buy a samsung.

Edit: Wow, the reviews for this are SO bad, even for samsung, lol! Still thumbs up for the effort op!

What always amuses me is all the cheap junk I've bought over the years, assuming I'd have to replace it quickly - offbrand, simple electronics and appliances - is the stuff that just refuses to die!
