No! This is for alfresco cooking, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good value for starter. I have campchef, one for car camping, full size for one home use.

Wow. I paid $147 for this last year. No brainer at this price.
If you're interested in one of these and don't need the full size 36" version - this is the way to go.
I like the 36'' or larger for home use. It is so easy to do fry rice on it. Make sure to grease it up before storage.

I have 2 or these. One for camping and one for the backyard. They are great. Just make sure you season it well before use. There are plenty of videos on youtube.

Great deal, in for one. Thought BJ's Wholesale Club had the bare grill for $75, but appears sold out in the last couple minutes.

Awesome thank you! We got the 36" on sale last year but this will be better for camping.
The 17" is better for camping.

The 22" is pretty heavy and bulky, unless you have that many people you need to cook for. This deal is good because it includes the stand and hood though.

Oh lord...you do not BBQ steaks!
Quote from Mikeyfunkmastag :
I'm hoping by bbq he means sauce. We all know if a steak needs sauce it's either bad meat or cooked wrong. Anything beyond steak seasoning (light salt n pepper) is just covering misteaks

In for one, I'm sure my wife will be thrilled I'm adding a 5th grill to the house but they all have a purpose... or at least that is what I keep telling myself

These are great. I have the small one for camping and this one for the patio. They do require a bit of learning curve to use. How to season, clean and maintain. Lots of scraping, oiling, learning how to keep the heat stored, etc. I was camping with friends last week. One guy was a pro chef and I of course, let him do his thing. I watched how he moved the food around, kept the center hot, how much food it can handle without essentially "boiling" the food and keeping the "sear". When I thought it was clean enough to start cooking he got it much cleaner. Made all the difference in the world. If youre not the type who wants to spend the time to learn the ropes of cooking this way just prepare yourself for making a mess of the cooking surface and struggling to keep the surface useable. Ive had them both for over a year and still learning..

I was thinking the same but it looks like the hood comes off and obviously the stand as well. I'd be curious to know the weight of just the griddle at that point. For $11 more than the 17", seems like a no brainer.

If you think about the fact you use a propane stove top in your house, this is the same except the propane is in a little bottle. So, don't keep it on for hours wihtout venting in house just like you would not keep on all your stove top burners on high for hours. I have 6 burner propane rangetop in house wihtout hood. So, this is no different

The unit minus stand is about 20#
