I have a pair that I wear occasionally. They have held up well but the bottom on the pair I have is very soft. The smallest pebble will press itself into the sole, larger ones will too. Then you hear a click while walking and with every step it presses itself deeper until it's almost flush, but not quite. It's a nuisance honestly, but I have been looking for another pair (in a different style) because they are incredibly comfortable and I was hoping it wasn't like that with all of them. For about the last 2 weeks I've been saying to my wife that I need another pair but she has asked me to stop referring to them by their brand name. Generally, they aren't very cheap in price. Unfortunately or fortunately, not sure yet, I jumped on the Sears deal earlier, so won't be grabbing anything here.
Edit: Grabbed a pair anyway. I've spent too much on shoes now.
