It looks like it's back on sale again, cheaper than the previous FP deal.

I purchased one from the previous FP deal and I'm impressed with these cables. Had to jump a dead pickup last December, and it did great after hooking them up and letting my truck charge his for about 10 minutes, and then it started right up. It might of been less than 10 minutes, but we walked next door to the Dunkin Donuts to get coffee. Smilie

These must be aluminum cables for this price. Can anyone check their cables? No mention of being copper in the Walmart ad.

Edit: Found this on Amazon (btw same price)

Q: Are the wires pure copper, copper-clad aluminum, or pure aluminum?
A: Copper-clad aluminum.

Keep in mind, aluminum has half the current carrying capacity of copper. So these 4 gauge are about the same as 6 gauge copper. If you only have $16, you probably can't do any better.
No one is going to sell you 20 foot Pure Copper jumper cables for $16.
Just two pieces of 20 ft. #4 copper wire at Home Depot is going to run you $50 without the clamps.

Aluminum has 60% of the conductivity of copper and half the weight.
If you want solid #4 copper, it's going to cost three times as much: https://www.amazon.com/TOPDC-Copp...B01K17TMFK

OP - thanks for the post. Some how my good cables "disappeared" recently. Been looking for a good deal on quality cables. If these were copper wires, I would buy immediately.....too bad they are just aluminum.

Find old school jumpers.on CL or FB Marketplace. I have had so many issues with the ones I bought from HD that I found some non copper clad aluminum ones on CL. Best $20 I have spent.

Here it is from Amazon at the same price. I'll buy from Amazon with 5% CB before I go to Wally World.

No offense to the mechanics, my mechanic have told me your cables can be taken by some other mechanics when I leave them in my car. JFYI.
