The Microsoft store has the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active for $137.17 in both black and rose gold. I had Best Buy price match it. Per the site the offer is good thru 3/15 or while supplies last.

Nice deal, I bought an open box off ebay for 120 last week.

I only wear this watch for running and the HR accuracy seems fine for me, though I know people have had issues with it.

This or the Fossil Smart Sportwatch? I just bought the Fossil the other day and it seems limited. Curious if this one is any better for just $30 more? Would be paired with an iPhone, so I know there are limitations simply because of that as well.

Is this thing bulky? I had a gen 1 Huawei watch and stopped wearing it not because of any possible Chinese spying but I find it a bit heavy and thick. Just not too comfortable wearing all day. I've been on the hunt for a light/thin smart watch that doesn't look like a Apple watch clone or a dorky fitness band. This seems like a decent price if it fits the bill.

Does this have LTE connectivity? I want to use to go out on the water WITHOUT my phone being with me.

40 mm. Really nice watch. I had it for about a few months and really liked it. The only problem was that it looked too small on my hands. I sold it and got a good deal on the fossil sport which is 43 mm. That one looks better visually, but is cheaper quality than samsung. Fossil is also very buggy and keeps disconnecting. Battery on fossil is barely a day while samsung is easily 2 days. My daily is an S3 frontier so this was only for weekends.

I had huawei gen 1 as well. This one is less bulky. Smaller and more rounded edges as well. I didn't find it bulky at all but you can't compare to skagen slim types.

It's a nice watch, but I have the Active 2 which includes a speaker, so it can be used as a speakerphone in a pinch when you're across the room from your phone, or when on a ski lift and don't want to pull your phone from your pocket. Really nice feature that this watch lacks.

At this price point, though, it'd be really tempting.
