Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Tried using IMEI of S10 bought at the Costco T mobile deal that is now unlocked and it said phone was not able to be activated on Sprint. Makes no sense...
TMobile unlocked is still GSM only. No?

The carrier branded S10 is eligible for Sprint.. Try running thru ting checker. Sometimes it pushes imei into sprint database.
Edit looks like Ting is using Verizon now, So that probably won't help.

I had a pleasant experience up until I found my iPhone unexpectedly locked too. They immediately said they would unlock it, but they had a slow/disorganized process.

Great suggestion! Phone shows eligible for Ting but still not for Sprint. I'll give it a few days... Sprint deal is good through 4/9/20.

See my edit, looks like ting uses Verizon now so that method probably doesn't work anymore.

I am logged into my SWAC account and still see the offer, and the chat rep said I would qualify, so do I want to risk it?!?!?!??!
Tempting... But on the TOC, I see port from prepaid numbers don't qualify?

How to check if porting number is eligible?

Very easy, go to Sprint byod imei checker page and plug it your imei number and phone number. Page will show you right away if eligible or not.

Oppsss, I stand corrected... Numbers from prepaid carriers that are not using the Sprint network will always be eligible for Sprint service. The question is.... Will they qualify for the $300 promo if they come from a prepaid non Sprint carrier.

It is so stupid that prepaid cards have an expiration date. Funds were used to purchase the card so why the hell should they expire? I could understand a check having an expiration but having one on a card already loaded with funds is ridiculous
I apply them to bills I need to pay anyway (that I won't get any other type of credit card bonus for). I wipe them out as soon as I can usually.

They're full of shit. They've denied me on all the prepaid/gift cards I've put in for.
I'm sorry for making assumptions but when I read posts like yours with little to no information I tend to lean toward operator error.... What was the reasoning they denied your cards? Are you sure you followed the rules EXACTLY? If so, did you escalate your denial or just let it go and be mad about it?

The way I operate with things like this.... take a screen shot of the offer in your account, do a chat with a rep to confirm and be VERY clear and save it, if you want to go 1 step further, record a call with a rep (assuming it is legal in your state or you notify them you are recording). I have NEVER been denied something by doing this if the rep made a mistake (but it does take very high escalation).

I see the IMEI checker but not the actual phone number check? Does it ask you eventually before checkout?

I would think so... You can try the process and see how far it gets you.

Port five lines , get $1500, cancel after 4 months = Profit.
Is there any catch ?
I can probably scrape together 3 or 4 to port over. Would nice to profit from this. Can't use Sprint network though as my phone service. So these phones would just sit in the drawer.

I am having a hard time believing this can be combined with the $300 Pixel 3 XL + $35 Kickstart offers.
