Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I have the free BYOD plan ending in April.
I can port a new number from Tello/ GVoice.

I have not yet read the thread completely. Can the Kickstart $35 plan be added to the same account and port over a line and bring in a phone?
Can the device be changed?
Can a device that has been on Sprint previously be used and you wont be disqualified?

Thanks.

I do have 5 devices to use but yes SIM card price needs to be taken into account.. even then it seems I would end up with at least 700 after taking out all deds
I think that we are still required to report the $1500 as "income" and pay income tax on it.

So this deal will not work with T-Mobile prepaid?
i really do not know. bummer that "prepaid" word is there. but if you go to their website and click on that circled letter i (information),

it just says ..."Limited time offer. Unlimited Kickstart: Video streams up to 480p, music up to 500 Kbps, gaming up to 2 Mbps. Data deprioritization during congestion. With AutoPay. Reqs new line and BYOD or Full SRP phones. Other mo. charges apply.** Prepaid Mastercard requires port and online registration; ships after 90 days."

just says requires port....doesn't specify if number can't be pre paid.

I placed an order for 4 lines. The final confirmation only shows the $300 prepaid card under 2 of the lines. Are others having the same experience?

Is there an option to do the number transfer by April 9th, but have the first day of service later? I am currently on a prepaid Mint plan and would like to start paying for Sprint after my prepaid period with Mint is over which is going to be in May.

Planning to port two lines from visible that I got last month with Moto e6. Hope I get the $300 Prepaid Master card. Sprint is notorious for denying the Rebates though. In order to get the rebate you need to stay with sprints for about 4 months. So the cost will be $35X4=140 plus fees and taxes. Then another $30 activation fees. I am guessing total will be around $220 for 4 months. So you get 4 months of service plus $80 profit.

My e6 from the Visible deal passed the IMEI, but it is common knowledge it won't work on Sprint.

This recently happened to me, Sprint absolutely sucks trying to get an unlock done. Had an iPhone 7+ on Verizon for a few months, then switched to Xfinity for a year. Then I switched to Mint mobile for a week. Bought a new iPhone 11 from Costco and did an iTunes factory restore to the i7+ and suddenly it said "Sim Not Supported". Went to apple store and now it's locked to Sprint!! Twice they relocked IPhones on me

For everyone concerned you won't get the cards for Kickstarter, just go to the sprint landing page, it confirms it.
you are right it works on the kickstarter plan
