Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Nope. Activate, leave it until you get the gift card. They record the imei and sim number. So whatever imei and sim combo you used... Is equivalent to 1 line. You can't use that imei /sim that is already registered on your first line.

Meaning you need to have several Sprint compatible phones with their corresponding sim cards. An old Nexus 5x on eBay would work. Or any other Sprint phones.

Interesting.... where does that IMEI recording info policy come from? Is it in the terms (I admit I didn't read them yet)? I understand they track by SIM as the whole point is to port a new line to Sprint, but why would they care what phone you are bringing as long as it isn't currently on Sprint's network as another poster said? To prevent exactly this?

That is just how Sprint works, once your imei # is on a Sprint line, you can't use it for another Sprint line. You have to deactivate that imei first meaning transfer that phone number to another Sprint eligible phone. That is why I prefer to buy Google phones, because they are generally unlocked and can be used on any network. So perfect for money maker deals like this.

Can someone add to the Wiki what the cheapest plan one can sign up for that qualifies for this?

Seems Promo is valid only for new and not existing customers who add new lines with port in from other carrier? Spoke to cust rep who confirmed one GC per line with 5 max. Port in from Visible works for this promo.

I just activated and got approved for the promotion card. It looks like the promotion is possible for each number ported in as there were spots for each number you wanted to add that you activated
So submit just one rebate for one or more lines and not separate rebate for each line, correct?

Also $50 for current customers to bring in a new number.
Says it works with $35 kickstart, chat said yes once no a second time.
This would be worth porting off the $25 KS and coming back at $35 KS but I have little faith that would be honored.
The 300 GC offer works for existing customers as per cust service rep. But when you go through the registration page and say I don't have a promo code, it gives you a list of current promotions. There it mentions new customers for the $300 offer. So it seems cust serv rep was BSing.

On Sprint website, the banner says, "Switch to Sprint + get $300 when you bring your phone or buy a new one outright.".
Does that mean one could buy a Pixel 3 XL for $300 (https://slickdeals.net/f/13874744-sprint-pixel-3-xl-300) unlock the phone in 50 days, get a $300 Preepaid card in 90 days?
(I don't seem to see an option to buy the phone though which I use the promo page link)
I think it should work, that phone seems to be able to select the Kickstart plan.

What people need to be confirming or denying in these comments is whether or not the Best Buy kickstart sign up for $25 a month will also allow this $300 promo.

We get it people, you don't like the service. Move on. Not for you then obviously.

you should see 4 options:

Waived Activation Fee - $30
No Credit Check required!
Switch To Sprint + Get $300
$5 AutoPay Plan Discount.
Any ideas why I might not have gotten waived activation fee?
