Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Did I miss something is signup? Was there a place to enter former account #'s and PIN's??
Yes, during the sign-up process there's a screen to enter your phone number to be ported (then it displays which carrier it is with), and the boxes to enter your account number and PIN. I used them to port in my number from Visible, expiring next Wednesday.

I've been on the free plan for the last 3 years. Service and speed has been good. My question is does anybody know if the $35 Kickstarter plan has the same speed as the Free service I have had for the last few years?
Regular data is at same speed I believe. But video streams are lower speed.

How do you get your activation fees waived when you sign up online?

I am trying to reach 5 lines/phones. 3 lines/phones are straightforward and I plan to use them.

For the remaining two I have imei for unlocked sprint phones but the phones are overseas. I don't need those lines just the $300 rebate. Can I just order and activate the line without physically installing the sims(will buy from sprint)? Or rebate will be disqualified since the phones will never connect to sprint.

Hmm. Does the Best Buy $25 plan qualify? I thought I read it doesn't.
I don't know? I actually went through the process and it says it is pending? I'm sure it's the same with everyone as the whole page gives you a tracking and everything. I never read anything that says you can't!

This question made me break out in laughter.

Would be weird if somehow sprint was giving faster speed and service for free...and slower for paid...

seeking help from the experts - I have an existing free plan account expiring end of this month. I placed an order for 5 new lines (all porting in from Google voice) with the no-credit-check option (I didn't login to my existing account) - I was not asked for my SSN (just DOB for verification). The order was submitted, but I don't see any other communication from Sprint. The order confirmation shows $300 prepaid card only on 2 lines out of the 5 - I chose the $100 basic unlimited plan.

Chat rep says I need to call and setup a new account - which I am assuming includes the credit check. Wondering, as I am an existing customer, would I need to go through a credit check to setup a new account? Or should I port out my existing 1 year free plan number (it is scheduled to expire end of the month anyway) and ensure my previous account is closed before I call the telesales guys?

Any advice is appreciated.

I just went through with best buy $25 a month Kickstarter plan and rep sent me my account info in chat. I have registered for $300 x 3 Visa cards
I am planning to switch to Sprint but waiting to make sure that I can get BB rate for the Kickstarter plan preferably with the MasterCard promotion so could you please share more details:

Did you get a confirmation email from Sprint after submitting your info and did BB and/or Sprint confirm that you qualify for the 300$ MasterCard ?

I have a locked Boost phone currently on Tello. Can I port the number out to TMO prepaid, and then port it into sprint with this Boost phone?

Has anyone got 5 byod lines on basic unlimited and the order email correctly shows rebates on all lines?

Has anyone put in order for multiple $35 Kickstarter lines and the order email showing rebate for all the lines?

Can you BYOD through Best Buy and get the $25/mo Kickstarter plan?

If so, how? I can't figure it out.
I did the bb $25 a month x 3 numbers. Just follow the link after you sign up that is the landing for registering for the card. It says "Enter promo code" and "date of registration" or something like that

I never got a confirmation email from Sprint. I just have "tracking" codes to track my progress. But there's a whole dedicated section to tracking promo card progress so I'm not worried

I know, but I get incredibly fast speed with the free service, which has always seem weird to me.. 🤔 We have rooted a phone to use as a tethered hotspot and it runs everything in our house and streams two TVs at a time; on the free Sprint service...
