Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Will Google voice number for Port in works?
It will but you have to pay GV to release the number. The actual port often takes days, not minutes. At least that was my experience.

You get both the options. You can provide details at the time of order or select to provide them later.
One last question. Does the port happen within minutes since you filled it out during the account creation? Or it took a while? Thanks a lot for all the info

It took weeks and endless calls to Sprint to get a phone unlocked from their network. And every time they said it was unlocked. It was hell. Be careful if you ever plan to take the phone off Sprint

Tried using IMEI of S10 bought at the Costco T mobile deal that is now unlocked and it said phone was not able to be activated on Sprint. Makes no sense...
Make sure it's actually unlocked. It's been a nightmare getting phones unlocked with T-Mobile in the past for me. Sometimes a few tries before it actually unlocks

I still bother Sprint about once a week for almost a year now over 100 dollar prepay MasterCard that was never send, and switching from Verizon to Sprint was not a smart move on my part

I believe it's 45 days for the credit pull. Or you can choose the non credit pull option.
I mean the 300 gift card for past customers. They can pull credit for all I care

I can't seem to sign up and wondering if this is because I'm on Google Fi (which relies partly on Sprint), or if it's because I bought my phone used (but unlocked).

After entering my IMEI:
Fi uses both t-mobile and sprint network. You have to chat with Fi support for them to release your number to port to Sprint.

The Sprint online chat said that it would work. If it wasn't going to work, don't you think the rep or the online payment system would have hit the brakes? (The receipt mentions the $300 promo as well).
Check number eligibility here. GV will work.

Only problem since it's voip, it may take a couple of days. GV is different from Google Fi.

Does this works for old sprint customers? . I left them 2 months ago to Mint...
If you are worried you can do a no credit check, or use another person is spouse or other family members or friends.

Depending on your phone and location, it takes like 10 minutes sometimes less once your phone connects to their network.

No credit check can only do byop. If you want to lease their phones that's when you need the credit check.

Thanks. Any idea if 300 promo is one per address or person....
