If it is GV, I would call the porting dept and have it ported manually in a couple of minutes or less.
You know what the magic number to call to expedite porting? 877 503 3269. You can thank me later 😊.

Port in details?
U mean only phone number..right?
.It does not ask acct no or pin during ordering
I ported in from Visible, there were boxes to enter the phone number, acct #, and PIN. See screenshots. Without the acct # and PIN, they can't confirm you own the number. They don't want you to hijack someone else's number.

Port five lines , get $1500, cancel after 4 months = Profit.
Is there any catch ?
Sprint LOCKs mine, friends and families UNLOCKED devices for the BYOD plan.
we all signed up with UNLOCKED phone to the BYOD plan. And all our UNLOCKED phones are RELOCKED to the Sprint Network without any warning.
When we called Sprint to unlocked our phones, customer reps kept saying it will be unlocked or it is unlocked but when we put in a sim card from other carriers and phones showed "Invalid Foreign Sim."
All our devices has both CDMA and GSM frequencies. And all are paid off with no balance.
Nightmare.

Are they Sprint-branded phones? You use the word "RELOCKED", does that mean the phone was previously locked, then unlocked by Sprint, and now RElocked? If they were purchased unlocked, why not use LOCKED instead of RELOCKED?

Previously activated number may not qualify. So tread carefully. See my comment and the related post.

the definition of "previously activated number" is not clear... so you cannot say 100% that it will not qualify if ported out and ported in again..

I don't want to add to the confusion, since I don't have definitive info, but if you want more data on this, look for the thread from that several years back, when Sprint was clearing out their Essential Phones (for $120+) there were a lot of us in that forum (who were reselling the Essential Phones - I got 4 personally) that dealt with this issue of Sprint locking the Essential Phones. We had to keep them on Sprint for a certain # of days to get them unlocked (50) and Sprint *would definitely* lock these phones, which came factory unlocked. It was a big hassle, with a lot of *ymmv* and different results for different people == Sprint is inconsistent.
I know that since that time, while on the 1 Year Free BYOD, Sprint has sometimes locked my BYOD phones (non-Sprint), other times not locked them, and has at times re-locked one of those "at one time unlocked per request then later re-locked" Essential Phones that I kept. They have locked a Moto G4 that was not purchased from Sprint and was factory unlocked. All my phones that were not purchased from Sprint (ie, Verizon iPhones), they have unlocked at my request. Most recently, I ported from Sprint to Visible (ending my free BYOD) and couldn't activate my owned Galaxy S7 on Visible, as, once again, Sprint had re-locked it (though I had it unlocked when I traveled internationally in the fall). Even though I was no longer an account holder, they unlocked it for me, no problem. In summary, yes, they likely will lock your phone to Sprint, ymmv, but if you stay for 50 days and your device is paid off, or especially if it is not a Sprint device, it should just take a (painfully slow and annoying) phone call to get it unlocked.
