Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I activated just one line and waiting for other second line sim to be delivered.. So just checked and it gave me option to enter multiple phone numbers in the promotion page.. So i did not submit it as i was not sure if it has to be update all once for 1 account or can be done for same account multiple times for different lines..

I can port 8-10 lines next week and I have a question about Sprint Sim cards.
Are there any sim card deals with rebates available at the moment like from Amazon that will work for this promotion or just generic Sprint sim cards work?

did u see below reply to you by GK?

did u respond to it it? (i can not recall your response)

anyways, u need to be a little more clear so folks can help u out.

are u on ting gsm or ting cdma?
most likely cdma, which is sprint, so that is not gonna help u .

best to port to some one other than s or its mvno.
like visible, or metro etc

As far as I remember, Ting uses T-Mobile and Sprint. If you chose the Sprint network, you have to ask them to transfer your number to T-mobile or else your line can't move to S.

I wonder if that has anything to do with CDMA vs GSM. Sprint uses CDMA, T-mo uses GSM. I mainly use Tracfone, and they will reuse a Verizon (CDMA) SIM but not an AT&T or T-mo SIM.
i don't thikn so, plus that cdma vs gsm is mostly outdated.
they probably simply use different database/provisioning vendors

ahaaaa.....i learn something everyday. TF can re-use a Verizon sim? what about can Verizon re use a Verizon sim? just curious.
yes, you can, but it doesn't always work. sometimes they tell you it's not compatible, for some reason

Thank you i do not know if i am on ting gsm or ting cdma. I just know i have a ting account.. Do u know how i can ask them to move the number to ting gsm??

EDit: i just did some reseasrch online, its now under cdma, it sounds like i have to order a gsm sim in order to switch to gsm. I just order it hopefully it will allow me to switch over to gsm.. should have switch to tmobile pre-paid instead..
