Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I had to wait for about 1 hour on hold and I don't think that I ever got connected to a person.
Any tricks for porting the number another way?
make sure you get your order number, pin, email and name ready.

chat and tell them you don't have any active sprint numbers, then ask for your account number, use that to create an online sprint account, then you will be able to check your transfer status and enter missing information if needed.

once you log in to your sprint account, go to "my account" then "orders and transfers", there will be a form for each number that you can fill in port-out account number and pin, those are the only two you need, leave other fields such address, zip code, ssn or birth date as is, you don't need to worry about those.

HA GK, I don't know how you I got you quoted on that post, I was just responding to the other poster.

Dont you have a SWAC account as well? Did you decide to keep or ditch it (if the former let me know)? Or is that one of your ladies account? Desi's right, hard to keep up with.

But as to your question I believe it's one account per SSN (credit account). At least on consumer site.

I would just do the no credit for this one and get your $800 or more plus any referrals and other bonuses you have up your sleeve.

See if your Free BYOD JOYRIDE ends, and if they offer you something juicy afterwards. And if not, then jump on a credit account 4 months or so down the road from now and grab some free S20's Plus free watches or whatever juicier deal they will offer then.

Or if you're only keeping a couple of lines long term consider doing this deal for the cash, plus have one of your wives do the BB moto e6 deal (free plus $30 activation but get's you grandfathered into $25 a line kickstarter). And sub in some better phones if you like. In a perfect world you could wait a few months to do this. . .so that you did not have to involve the wives or pay for 2 accounts at the same time.
am keeping the swac for now. maybe i'll open a new credit check account to tick all the requirements. byod ends end of April. i can add a paid line on that if i need to. i'l be keeping a couple of lines long term. i have to do my math with all the different options.

I actually use Tracfone for my cell phone service. I'm only doing theses deals for the perks (free phones from Visible by trading in old phones; $300 GC and $80 cash back from tcb with the Sprint port-in). I don't really pay attention to how good their services are.

The cost of Sprint Kick Start plan is $40/month ($35/month with Auto Pay + taxes/fees, comes to $40.87/month for me). I'll only be in it for the required 3-4 months to get the $300 GC.
I use visible I was comparing the service, it's 15 bucks more a month but more features. I was just wondering if it's worth the pre vs post.

Has anyone tried porting to Boom mobile? The sim is 3.47 on ebay/amz and comes preloaded with the 1st month.
I ported from boom with the trial sim. Mine got stuck in porting but I chatted with Boom and within a minute it went through. Same thing I had to do with my US mobile line too. Don't know why there was so much trouble with porting in.

What is this $50 for current customers offer ?
50 card for current customers to bring or add a number. It was under the t&c it may have changed.

I was going to port out and back in to get an s20+ ultra or whatever but frankly, I'm stuck at home and don't need a better mobile work device.

Transferred out of BYOD free for a year Sprint plan last week. Will they let me port back and get $300?

There's a better deal for $1.47 on Amz if you search for Blue Beat Digital sim card. It sold by BBD but it's Boom mobile. I ported to them today so I can port back to take advantage of this offer. Porting process was a little janky as their on-line form didn't allow inserting my Sprint 6 digit PIN. Each time I had to use chat to correct the PIN.
Do you they give you easy access to the port out info though is the real question.

I am little worried.. as in my tcb account dashboard.. there is a section "My top merchants"..
There sprint shows no of clicks as 1 only... it should be 2 after i clicked and completed order.. the first click was just a test i did 2hours before the actual 2nd click to order..
Do you know anything abt it or i may be thinking too much about that

on my 1st try, 2nd acct, i got the email within 5 mins.

also, the account information for porting is on the last few pages. even though it asks for ssn, I left the default ssn, 999-99-9999, it accepted it.

any confirmation one way or another on porting from mint and not getting the $300?

how were you able to add acct# and pin during order step... it never asked me.. only phone numbers to transfer were asked...
The screenshots below show where I enter the acct# and PIN to port-in during the checkout process.

yup, that's where I entered mine, I left the SSN as default.

how many lines did you port when you signed up? did you use TCB? if yes, what was the rebate amount that tracked?
