Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Why's it hard to get a SIM from Sprint store? Any tips to do it? Ordering online won't arrive until Tuesday! Frown
First thing they will not get commission and they don't want to sell only SIMs. They will ask you to activate with new plan. Better go to Apple store and ask for Sprint SIM. Apple can give the SIM without any charges.

I've read some stores will sell it. If they are open during this pandemic. Call first and ask for it and price.

Thanks. But that means I'm gonna be without number until that? Or there's an option to buy it without doing the transfer?

Just checked my email and found this statement from Best Buy:

Beginning Sunday, March 22, we will offer contactless curbside service at all locations across the country where state or local laws allow. Rather than ask you to come into our stores, any items you order on BestBuy.com or the Best Buy app will be delivered to your car curbside.

I don't see it on their website but maybe call your local BB

I ordered 24 hours ago, got UPS overnight tracking label for the sim card. Expected delivery date is Tuesday.

My t-mo line is still active even though I entered my port-in info.

Have you tried turning on the phone. I'm not sure if it will activate without sim. Sim is only for LTE
I haven't done the transfer yet. I am debating that. I know I can use wifi meanwhile but I am pretty sure the phone will need the sim card to work and get phone calls when I am out of wifi range. Or am I wrong?

I now have two phones Moto G7 currently on Mint and an old Moto E6 in my desk I'll need to activate so I can port in ... gonna try the Amazon route for Tracphone SIM, activation, and $25 GC.

Does Sprint allow you to downgrade accounts: for example from Unlimited Plus to Kickstarter?
If I can talk friend into including his eligible iPhone it'd be 3 lines total and worth it to do Unlimited Plus.
After having the Sprint account open 3-4 months to qualify for the bonus I'd like close the account and port somewhere else. Another option would be to just have my Moto G7 line downgraded to a $35 Kickstarter and terminate the other two lines. Doable?
