Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I want to move my 2 T-Mobile lines to sprint and add 3 more lines for the unlimited plus. Any suggestions where I should get the 3 numbers? Sign up with non-sprint carriers to get the numbers and port out? I heard there are numbers for sale on eBay. How does that work? Will I own these numbers permanently or it's just temporary? For the 3 additional phones, if I am buying from sprint, can I also add my 2 T-Mobile phone together? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Someone mentioned in this thread that you can combine multiple offers for NEW sprint customers?

$300 offer +
$50 (sprint referral) +
$80 (tcb site)
$200 credit union offer (unsure? [1])
====
$630 total

I'm really not sure if the $200 credit union thing is stackable, someone suggested it.

What kind of line of service are you folks getting for 5 lines deal?
Also do you need all 5 IMEI numbers in order to place a 5 line order at once (possible to order 5 lines with 2 devices)?

my contract will expire on April 20th for one line. Four lines are ready to port in. Is there any easy way so I can register now but hold porting till April 20th?

I know this promotion will end on April 9th so If I activate 4 before 9th and last one activate on April 20th, will that work?

Anyone have their personal hotspot working already? A Reddit thread said it's going to take until Apr 1 to get everyone's hotspot working.

It is working. Why April 1? The data allocation for Hotspot appears to be 70GB and not 50GB.

I ordered 24 hours ago, got UPS overnight tracking label for the sim card. Expected delivery date is Tuesday.

My t-mo line is still active even though I entered my port-in info.
During the ordering process, I didn't see a place to order port-in info (previous carrier account info and pin). I only entered the phone number and which byod device it applies to.

Did you already enter the previous (current) carrier account and pin during ordering process?

I received an email from Sprint showing the last 4 digits of my sprint account no. The emails confirms the charge for the sim card I ordered (1 sim card was priced at 2.99, rest at 0). The email also confirms the autopay setup.
Can I setup my online account access with sprint now before porting?

Yes. Use IMEI of one of the devices in the order to setup the online acct. Or get the acct num from the chat agent by giving order num and the acct pin. The former is probably much easier. Then once u have the sim, u can finish providing the porting info with ur online acct.

I transfer google voice #s all the way through checkout. Got a confirmation order # along with a PIN. Called Sprint port # 877 503 3269 when i had all my phones port-in info at hand. All GV numbers, called Bandwidth under Sprint, were immediate transfer. Mint mobile, called Ultra Mobile under Sprint, numbers took about 10-15 mins to activate. Hope this helps. Best thing to do is call Sprint port #

Thanks james, so you mean to say, right now port in with other new number and later I can call Sprint to port in again my original number on the top of that number?

You'll need to call and ask to verify. But I'm very certain every cellphone plan would let you do that. You'd just be paying for service you're not using yet though
