Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Less return on gift card = 300
Net cost of one year of service = 150
$3-$5 per month depending on your location

Have to love sprint's awful service.
With Sprint deal, if you do 5 lines,
And if you stay 3 months, you make $1200+ $50 referral bonus+cashback (it's could be $80 or any amount, still not clear).
If you stay 6 months with sprint, you make $900 + $50 referral bonus + cashback (it's could be $80 or any amount, still not clear).
so Sprint is really a MONEY MAKER, not VZ.

I signed up using the no credit check option, entered my IMEI and signed up as normal. At the confirm screen I think it says they're mailing you a sim, its really not clear they just go over all the possible cases, but it says your port won't go through until you get your SIM. Anyway, you'll get an email saying you can sign up for MySprint now, however this will cause your line to port and activate immediately. Your line gets activated on some SIM card, probably the one your being mailed. But at this point on your pixel, remove your previous carriers SIM, go to settings, Network & Internet, and select Download a SIM, select the option to download a SIM, then Next. You'll wait a minute or two to load but going through this it lets you pick carriers from a list, select Sprint and your line will activate on eSIM.
Just accidentally discovered this. The signing up for My Sprint causing your line to port seems like a system oversight so just a fair warning they may patch that out.
