Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

ah, forgot that my SSN is already in use with Sprint for the free year I'm still currently on. So what I plan to do is refer my wife from my current Sprint account and she will do the credit check for the AA miles. I think the referral will not work because from what I read you cant have both referral and AA miles. So on second thought, maybe I wont bother to do the referral for line 1.

Then she will refer me but I wont do the credit check. Then I'll refer line 3, 4, and 5 which will be my mom and my two kids. I'll do it slowly, giving each line time to get set up and activated before referring the next line. And of course will click through TCB before each activation.

Can anyone confirm my logic, or lack of? Please
Referral won't work from a free line. Must be a paid line. It's in the terms and conditions.

Customers on BYOD 1YearFree plan are NOT eligible for Sprint Referral Rewards program.

I am seeing the compatibile sim is the SIMGLW406TQ

Have you tried plugging in your IMEI in the BYOD check? Did it let you move forward to selecting a plan?

What is the best way to contact TCB for the cashback not showing up in my account? Used the link to order the SIM's and then activated the lines, when the sims arrived 2 days later.

Just note that N/A usually means that is the Sprint branded model for that device, So other carrier brands for that device are not byod capable. If that make sense.

Does that mean the 1yrFree referrer does not get paid, or BOTH do not get paid?

Edit: Looking at the referral page now. Next to CanYouHearMeNowGuy's face it says

"Customers on BYOD 1YearFree plan are not eligible for Sprint Referral Rewards program. To qualify for rewards, your referrer must have been an active Sprint customer for more than 24 hours prior to you activating your Sprint service."

So, no $50 for Referrer or Referree.

What settings do I pick to ensure I obtain T-Mobile coverage when sprint is poor or there is none? I don't want to be paying extra fees but not sure how to setup my phone for the correct phone and data "roaming" on T-Mobile (is that free?)

Kind of confusing.

Thank you!

source? there are no exclusions for porting.

I've signed up for 2 KS accounts, and 5 lines on Unlimited plus, so I expect to be paid, $2,100
Read somewhere that under the Unlimited plus, since 3 lines are free and you pay the first 2, you only get 2x $300 GC

It's not worth it to get 1 Plus line for your wife just for AA miles because of the much higher monthly fees for 4 months.
oh, does it cost more than $35/line for Plus? For the 5 lines for $100 deal, Plus is a free upgrade. Assuming you're right, then doing AA would only make sense if doing 5 lines for $100.

ah, thanks for pointing that out. Something must have changed because I got it sometime in the past 2-3 years of doing the free Sprint BYOD plans.

I accessed my account online and over on the left menu bar I found a way to change devices or cancel account. Can't remember exactly how— did it on my computer, though
Thanks. I will give it a try.

I ported one line, realized how bad the coverage was, ported right back to Visible! It's not even worth it.
