Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

After inquiring, I have been advised that T-Mobile starting in April 2019, they will be starting the migration of Sprint accounts/lines over to T-Mobile and its network. They also cannot guarantee any grandfathering in of Sprint rate plans. Period.
That did not happen in April.

I guarantee it.

to get $300 rebate:
Requires port and online registration; Prepaid Mastercard ships after 90 days.
---

You talking about this?
I can easily get AT&T phone numbers to port on eBay. My question is can i buy these cheapo phones for Sprint on eBay and ask the guy/girl to give me the IMEIs before shipping?

Cuz i was also reading people having to call to complete the activation process... but I wont have the phones with me!

you don't need the physical phone. I was able to complete 'activation' process without physical phone on one line.

If Sprint needs to send a sim, complete activation process by going to http://sprint.com/check-port-status once you receive sim

This evening I ported-in my 3rd number to Sprint. It went much worse than I had planned.
* Good thing: I ported in a number from my lapsed Visible account and it went without problems.
* Bad things:
1. The Sprint site crashed after I had filled out all the info and clicked SUBMIT. When I tried later after that, it kept saying that it couldn't complete my order online and I had to call to complete the order over the phone.
2. Because I ordered over the phone, I missed out on the $80 cb.
3. I wanted to create the 3rd account in my daughter's name, but since she never had a credit history, they couldn't pull her info from her credit file to do the "ID verification questions". Without ID verification, she can't be an account owner, had to add her as a new line in my account.
4. Because she's a new line and not a new account, she couldn't use a referral, so I missed out on her $50 as referee and my $50 as referrer.

At least the LG Stylo 4+ that I bought on HSN for $60 + shipping could be used on Sprint. I've read that it was only marketed by Boost, and I worried that I might have to use it on Boost for several months first before it could be used with Sprint directly.
Did you try going through the no credit check flow? theoretically you should have been able to get her approved for the $100 credit limit.

Be careful about this, I ported to Sprint last year from Verizon for the 100 dollar visa, and never got card contacted support over 10 times and they kept saying card was coming still nothing, and going from Verizon to Sprint in my area was a very bad decision on my part

Yes, I selected the No Credit Check option, but that wasn't the reason they didn't allow her to be an account owner. Because she has no credit history, they couldn't pull info from it to create the ID verification questions (which car you had owned, which mortgage company you used, etc). If they can't verify your ID, you can't own an account.

I am so happy I stopped using Sprint. I REALLY think they're a terrible company.
