Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

OK, so I created five new lines and the numbers to be ported in, as well as their associated sim numbers were entered as part of the process. I received an order number and PIN.

Now what do I do to activate lines and make sure numbers get ported?

I tried activation page with order number and zip, but the page says there are no activations associated with my number.

Do I just need to be a bit more patient, or am I missing something?

When I chatted with sprint customer support they confirmed that my number is eligible for $300 reward even though I ported out from sprint free plan just 20days back. But saw in wiki it's mentioned that I need to be 40days out from sprint to avail this $300 offer as new user. Confused now, do I really need to be away for more than 40days to avail this offer?

Can't log onto My Sprint; I do not yet have an account number nor does any number I wish to port allow me to create an account.

I did an online chat to try and get my account number but the chat rep wasn't able to see it fully -- rep did help finish the number porting then get my account number:

I had trouble setting up a new MySprint account with my computer. I then tried it with my phone via the sprint app and it worked fine for some reason. I don't think you need the account number to do it though. For an easy way to get the account number, see the wiki.

Did you have to pre buy the sim card, or does Sprint send you a sim after you placed your order?

Cheers
just like i said in the comment, i ordered or bought the sim card from sprint same time(it was 0 dollar at that time for 1 sim card, or 2.99 for sim card kit which has 4 sim cards), after i received the sim card within 48 hours, i inupt the sim card# and activated online through sprint.com, waited for about 30 minutes, then insert the new sim card to my BYOD (old samsung s6), wait about few minutes, then it worked without me doing anything extra, i then contacted h2o by chat and cancelled my auto pay with h2o wireless(maybe not needed due to port out done, but just wanted to be sure).

I recently moved to BB KS $25 plan from free plan. I submitted $50 New user promo and it got denied with below reason- Your Sprint number is not eligible for this offer. Rewards is entirely different dept and Chat doesn't know anything reg promos. I ported back to Sprint in 1 day and number was not eligible. In your case, 20 is also same and it will get reject. Also free plan numbers are not eligible for this offer. You can try with new GV or from eBay and you will get $300 for sure.

It seems like a lot of people are doing shopping portal (TC B, etc), referral from a current customer, and the $300 GC (the one that's the subject of this thread). Why is the consensus that those 3 can be stacked (and not less or more)?
