Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

i'm pretty sure it's just new accounts/lines (so not as long as you are a recent sprint customer).

The $300 GC offer is mentioned in my order confirmation email. See screenshot below. It's there for the two orders when I created new accounts and added a BYOD line to each account.

It's not there for the 3rd order where I added a new BYOD line to account #1. That's worrisome. I might cancel that line so I won't be paying 3-4 months of service but get no $300 GC.
So it was not a new phone, ey?

I only had 2 free lines in my account when i added the new pixel and that seems to work for the $300. I'm definitely not a new customer!

Weird happenings AZ

I'm not at all sure you can activate a boost locked phone on sprint without someone working some magic behind the scenes.

I would go with option 1, then sometime after activation try to do a device swap with the iphone 7 on sprint.com and if it doesnt work it might be safest to buy a cheap old sprint phone to use so you can show some activity on the line.
I would check with Customer Care through chat to see how long do one needs to wait for swapping devices.

coming from mintmobile. previously used with Sprint

with regards to promo registration wording
"Register each new phone number activated for this offer; previously activated phone numbers may not be eligible for this offer. "

I think previously activated phone numbers refers to numbers activated prior to the promotional start date (3/13/20) ???
another day I might chat sprint to inquire... but I mean how many phone carriers are offering promotions to transfer to them etc and they've never been with them before at some point and time? be hard to believe but who knows

I don't see anything about the $10/mo discount for my BYODs when I try to switch plans from KS to Unlimited Plus. Can this be done anytime?

This won't mess up any money coming I assume.
I'm not sure you can switch, you might lost all your rebates, best to start with Unlimited Plus plan

I dont see why it would matter, it never did for three years of free BYOD with Sprint.

Thanks! Successfully ported 5 lines from Mint to Sprint Unlimited Plus ($100/mo for 5 lines with $10 discount and 3-5th lines free). Earned $400 CB through a cashback portal. Assuming the rebates go through, that would be another $1,500.

I also prepaid my bill for 3 months using my Chase Freedom card (Category Bonus 5% Jan-Mar 2020), so 360*.05 = $18 cash back

To summarize:
+$400 CB Portal
+$1,500 Rebate
+$18 Credit Card CB
-$300 for 3 months of service (+ taxes and fees ~$60) = $360
=$1,558

Very nice deal, hope everything goes through Smilie
Also a plus to have free international calling to many countries until mid-April (COVID-19).

When registering for the $300 and it asks purchase date, do we use the day we activated the line or the day we ordered it?

Just want to make sure!
I used the date on the package slip, where it says order date

You can use Boost locked mobiles in Sprint. I ordered two Boost iP6+ and iP7 last year and used both on free BYOD plan until 1st week of March. Only catch is - when they ask where did you get this phone. If it is from Boost, tell the truth and they will clear prepaid lock on that mobile and activate post paid flag. My two phones were activated in 20 minutes.

Are you a referrer or a referee? I'm a referrer, and when I used that site I could check the status of the people who had used my referral. Of course, all of them are still in PENDING status because Sprint won't determine Yes or No until 30 days have passed since a line was activated. See screenshots below.
Yeaa. What link did you used to check that shows all the information. Is it the one where you register your phone?

i wonder you will get fulll rebate as you mentioned as it is one rebate per account not per line. have you created one account or 5 accounts?

Is that because you went through a different ordering process for the 3rd line where you just added a line to the existing acct? Or maybe your strict interpretation of the T&C is correct. Also, it asks only for one purchase/order date. Honestly, not sure how to read this and what to make of it.
There are two possible reasons for why the $300 GC is not mentioned in the order confirmation for my 3rd line:
1. Because the order was placed over the phone and that process doesn't know about the $300 GC offer. When I asked the rep if adding a line qualifies, he didn't know anything about that offer. I had to give him the offer code 300BYOD313 before he found it. He told me that adding a line qualifies, but we all know that what a rep says doesn't hold much water.
2. Because the offer requires one to be a NEW CUSTOMER, and technically when you add a line to an existing account you're not a new customer.

Based on what aznshorty said (even his over-the-phone order for his 1st line did not mention the $300 GC offer), I think #1 is the likely reason.

nice, thanks for the info. There was a time in the past that I tried to activate a Boost phone and they wouldnt let me. I guess things changed.

Lot of chances for getting $300 only because 2-5 lines are not eligible for this promo as per Sprint T&C since those are new lines under existing customer.
