Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Thanks! Successfully ported 5 lines from Mint to Sprint Unlimited Plus ($100/mo for 5 lines with $10 discount and 3-5th lines free). Earned $400 CB through a cashback portal. Assuming the rebates go through, that would be another $1,500.

I also prepaid my bill for 3 months using my Chase Freedom card (Category Bonus 5% Jan-Mar 2020), so 360*.05 = $18 cash back

To summarize:
+$400 CB Portal
+$1,500 Rebate
+$18 Credit Card CB
-$300 for 3 months of service (+ taxes and fees ~$60) = $360
=$1,558

Very nice deal, hope everything goes through Smilie
Also a plus to have free international calling to many countries until mid-April (COVID-19).
Lot of chances for getting $300 only because 2-5 lines are not eligible for this promo as per Sprint T&C since those are new lines under existing customer.

Well, that sounds logical, but then people who did 5 lines said it showed $300 GC for line 1 AND 2, which busts that logic.

This is assuming that 5 different orders were placed. What if all the lines were added in the same transaction? i.e.He was a new customer for all 5 lines at the same time(hit the submit button after all lines were added). Also, the rebate terms say a "Max 5 per account" for the $300 rebates-If all lines were added in one order-I'd say the chances are more than favorable that $1500 will be paid.

it is one order because it's unlimited plus $100 for 5 lines

Do you guys know if it is okay to BYOD a phone that was previously on the Sprint network or maybe prepaid Sprint network but I'm porting in a phone number from a different carrier such as Verizon? Just making sure I don't mess up here for claiming the rebate. Phone appears to be accepted by Sprint in the IMEI checker... Thanks in advance.

Going to be doing 2 lines here so hoping I get $300 x 2 from this promotion with cash back and referral bonus (only applies once). I wonder what site would yield the most cash back since TCB is only doing 1 line.

From the wiki, it says
"Terms state when submitting rebate that up to 5 lines per account are eligible. Each line will receive its own tracking number. You have the option for a physical or virtual card."

Unless someone misinterpreted it and put this in here, it looks like 5 lines per account would be eligible and each line would receive its own tracking number? So, I would think that it should work and as long as he does it all in 1 order at the very beginning, it should be fine. Any other reason you would think otherwise?

True. We can't predict whether Sprint will honor 2nd line because their wordings are clearly mentioned as new customer which is eligible for 1st line. My previous new customer offer for BB KS $25 from free plan was moved to rejected after 15 days. So, we will come to the status within 20 days.

I opened five lines at once, under one Sprint ID.

I activated all five lines.

I submitted a rebate request. The process asked for my account number. Under that, I was able to enter all five numbers.

Each line received its own confirmation number.

Good feedback..so there is hope.

IMHO, we are all simply speculating on what will and will not happen.
We have identified best practices based on sound judgement & past experience.

But truthfully, no one really knows.

It will be in ever ones best interest to keep up with the thread, read wiki, take screenshots/pictures, keep good records etc.

In the end we will all know in ~90 days.

Good luck

The terms of the rebate state max 5. They are all under 1 account. Strictly according to the terms, I believe I am entitled to the full rebate.

They say limit 5? I'm guessing that means you could theoretically do 5 (they're all under 1 account).
