Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If I was to do the Google Voice phone number, and I call someone, do they see the GV number or my old phone number that I have my calls ported to? I

They will see your phones number unless you use GV to call. From wikipedia:

Caller ID
As a call forwarding service, Google Voice also forwards the caller line identification (CLID or caller ID) of incoming calls to the user's telephone service. A user can choose whether to display a caller's CLID, or their Google Voice number, when receiving calls via the service.

Google Voice uses the caller's Google Voice number as the CLID on outgoing calls when the user places a call by calling the user's own Google Voice number and using the service's menu choices,[57] or when the web-based account portal is used to place a call.[58] With the introduction of the Google Voice application on iPhone, Android and BlackBerry phones, Google Voice users can directly dial from the Google Voice app with their Google Voice number as the outgoing CLID.

Just be careful if you are after the $300 rebate, you need to place order online to qualify.
Is that the reason people who added lines via phone/telesales got emails without $300 offer?

strange, I didn't receive a confirmation from portal, but when I checked my account it has a pending $400! hope it pays out!

I called the porting department, and all lines were ported after waiting, call took about 20 minutes.

CSR wouldn't give account number so I can register online and he transfered me to the 888-211-4727 deppartment.

I was able to register using the phone number, pin.

no to register for all the rebates & cashback!
Which cb site did you use?

That's what it APPEARS TO BE. But there was someone here who went into their local Sprint store; the salesman processed the order then submitted the info for the $300 GC. Also, the terms of the offer never states that the order has to placed online.

Agree, I haven't seen any specific condition that this has to be an online order. That's why I was checking where that info came from? Things are getting murky. I just checked the status of my rebate to make sure there is no rejection. All in pending status so far.

For the $300 rebate, did you guys choose Sprint Virtual Reward or Sprint Physical Reward?

I don't need store credit.

I took physical. Taking it to walmart for 70 cent money order. Then run to bank, unless bank will take it first.

They usually change promos on Friday's. Most likely the 10th but I have no specific knowledge of the exact date.

That's smart to do the money order.

I did virtual card. I'm hoping I can cash it out on venmo or something similar.

CSR will say anything to make a sale. I hope you take screenshots or recorded the conversation if you don't get your rebate.

Online, if you click on what the $300 rebate is before you add the card, it says:

Quote :
:
Switch To Sprint + Get $300

Get a $300 prepaid Mastercard when you bring your phone to Sprint or buy a new one outright.

Requires port and online registration; Prepaid Mastercard ships after 90 days.

I know the online registration can be interpreted many different ways.

This is also in the wiki in red. Don't come back here crying if you placed your order with telesales and rebate gets rejected. We've all warned you.

Better be safe than sorry.
