Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Did you guys have KS plan with the 20GB hotspot added due to COVID19 response?

Mine was denied because they are saying KS plan is not hotspot enabled plan.
My hotspot in now activated and working on KS but wasn't a day or 2 ago. HTH

nice, thanks for the info. There was a time in the past that I tried to activate a Boost phone and they wouldnt let me. I guess things changed.
i had a sprint prepaid phone for about 3 yrs bought from best buy. it would not check on BYOD. so i called them and requested. i was frank and requested it to be entered in their system for post paid. 24 hrs later, Tada this morning it is working and i am currently using it on post paid sprint. I guess they are more liberal now.

Whats the thought on keeping the same phone active on which line/number was initially activated to get the rebate card?
Can I just keep the line active without a phone for 3 - 4 months or do I need the keep the same phone or some other phone active with the line?

what happens if i dont use the prepaid card and its beyond expiry now. is it possible to claim the amount and i mean is there anyway to contact visa to get new card issued as the value is unused
The money is gone forever once it expires. Ask me how I know.

Now I just immediately buy an Amazon gift card/ credit with the money so it never expires.

If you want to risk it you can. Best to buy a cheap sprint phone. $25 or less. FB marketplace, offer up, let go, etc. Buy local, sanitize, and make sure imei checks out.

I'm on the BYOD plan as well, and I think it expires next month. When did you go off of BYOD, and how long were you with Xfinity if you don't mind me asking? Wondering what I need to do to make this happen? I've got two lines with Sprint now, and I could add a third if it's worth my while. Thanks in advance!
I was on xfinity slightly over a month.

Kind of an off topic question but does anyone here use an iphone with a google voice number? My wife used to do that and I found it annoying that she had to into the google voice app to make a call. Is it still like that? Debating whether I want to try an iphone for the first time ever.

can someone confirm i want to bring 4 lines over from verizon pre-paid

thinking of getting unlimited basic 4 lines $100 i do see $300 MC offer in cart for each line

my question is i have been a sprint customer before it has been 18 months since i was last with sprint. i am bringing over same phone numbers i have used on sprint network

is it true because i have been a sprint customer and all my lines numbers been on sprint previously i will not qualify for $300 MC card ???

Thanks
Quote from ReadySmile :
Exact Sprint terms are: "previously activated phone numbers may not be eligible for this offer."

Interpret that as you like, but clearly the foolproof option is to go with phone numbers that have never been activated on Sprint.

Awesome thanks for the reply - not worth the risk as i need the phone numbers we had it for 20 years. New numbers is not an option for me so i think next move will be visible 4 lines $100

am on verizon pre-paid no more refill card from flebay $40 for $25 it was good while it lasted but it time to look elsewhere.

Thanks
im thinking exact opposite.

i think u should definatly try for sprint and getting thies rebate of 300 x 4.

reasons:
1. u will still be paying ~$25 per line anyways to someone, so why not sprint.

2. no risk of loosing your numbers...if u do not get rebate in 90 days [ and it is not certain that u will or will not]...then simply move to visible or something else.

so in summary...go for the 5 lines for 100...u have nothing to loose and much to gain....

do the referral. do the cashback. look at posts from those that have done this for tips and tricks

for people you signed up for this offer, how long did it take for your order to be processed? I already have the sim card when I placed the port-in order but its still pending since yesterday. So looking for some recent experiences. TIA

Initiate a chat session to get started. That's how I did it. All five lines were completed (activated/ported #) in a reasonable amount of time.

Have account # / PIN for numbers to be ported readily available to speed up the process.
