Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Not a problem. The name on the account being ported in doesn't have to match the name on your Sprint account.
No I guess. Because my rejection notice says- This Sprint number is not eligible for this offer. They will always go with number and next account holder.

I have an off topic question regarding unlocking a Sprint phone with Sprint. I bought a Sprint phone (paid in full) from Sprint about 3 weeks ago and planning to cancel the line that is currently attached to that phone soon. I was told Sprint has a 50 days requirement for a device to be unlock. Will Sprint unlock the phone for me if I cancel the line and call them back to unlock after 50 days? Has anyone had that experience before? Thx!

50 days active is the requirement I believe.

No. They will not. It has to be active on sprint for 50 days.

I was lucky with frugal and it shows $400 for five lines. Time will tell if it is going to be that at the end.
thanks, so you ordered all the 5 lines in one sprint order and then also frugal showed 400. In case you did five separate orders - were they for 5 separate Sprint accounts or for 1 sprint account - TIA
