Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Are you saying that there's no port from MINT > Sprint?
Are these the steps in sequence(?):
-Port primary number from MINT to GV ($20 ouch).
-Ignore MINT for the Sprint port-in. Buy ebay ATT number and port in G7 phone to Sprint.
-Allow MINT 3-month prepaid to expire on April 29th. Asta la vista MINT.
-Set up GV to somehow forward both calls & txts from my primary number to the new number on Sprint.
Mint to Sprint will also close Mint account.

I got a bunch of them and they came in very good condition. I am going to request sprint to unlock after 50 days and resell after I get the $300 rebate. The resale value should hold since they would be unlocked by then.
In my case the seller was kind enough to send e imei's in advance by email.

You need to contact Google first to unlink the Fi number from Sprint, but they will only do this after you cancel service, so you would be without service for a while.
A better idea is probably to create a new Google Voice number and port that to Sprint for $3, Very straightforward.
Later, when you terminate Google Fi, you can port the Fi number to Google Voice for free and point it to your new Sprint line.

Sprint customer service will not be able to resolve this. You have to contact Fi customer service.
One can enter any random mobile number at promotions like and it will show as pending. It appears that the qualification criteria are not examined until 90 days from now, which means any problems are not identified at submission time, instead they are delivered as a nasty surprise late in the game.
Did you order the pixel from sprint and you didnt get a sim?
