Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Do we have to insert the sim to complete the port and activation?
Although you do need a Sprint SIM ICCID number for porting, you do not need to actually insert it into phone to activate, only if/when you actually want to use the phone.

If you have correct account info: phone number, account number and pin. It can be ported over really quick. Better call port department to do so.

The service didn't work when I followed the instructions, using a Moto e5 Play that I bought on Ebay. The Sprint technical support thinks it's a problem with the sim (brand new, they had sent it). So, they are sending me a new sim for free.

I got a Pixel 3XL but did not get a sim with that. When i tried to use esim method, it did not work.

Did you order the pixel from sprint and you didnt get a sim?
Pixel 3XL has eSIM capability for Sprint. Where did you run into problem in the eSIM setup?

You must be connected to wifi for eSIM provisioning.
Also, you may need to do an update to see Sprint reflected as an eSIM-approved carrier:
Settings > System > Advanced > System Update > Check for update
Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Carrier

I got the message "please complete your order over the phone". If I do that, can I still get $300 prepaid card? Thanks

Man, I'd love to try this, but it'd require me to purchase 5 numbers from eBay and try to grab 5 phones somehow. With stay at home order in effect (FL), I'll pass. Good luck to you all, though.

Yes you'll still get the $300 rebate/s, but you will not be able to take advantage of cashback aspect, which requires online linkouts.

This can be done entirely in pajamas. Don't pass it up! Big Grin
Numbers from Google Voice for $3. Phones nearly free from Sprint as extended element of deal itself.

You don't have to do 5 phones, even 1 or 2 is quite profitable.

Followed the Community Wiki, in step 2, "Activate your SIM cards at this link [sprint.com] using your confirmation number and zip". I input the confirmation number and zip but received "There are no pending orders in our system for this confirmation number and ZIP code."

Spent 2 hours on chat, phone calls, and was transferred to different people but still not fixed.

Anybody had similar experience?
