Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Spent 2 hours on chat, phone calls, and was transferred to different people but still not fixed.
Anybody had similar experience?

edited: Porting department will ask you sprint account pin, and pin you might have got on final order confirmation page.
and be ready with your porting account number and pin for completing the port.

Anyone know what that's all about?
The only thing that I can think of is that I might have given Sprint my Voice over IP number and if they try to send anything besides plain text, the message wont be accepted. But, I don't think that any notice is sent to the sender.

Just called. And was told since I placed the order this morning, the system was not updated yet. They wanted me to call back tomorrow.
BTW, I am trying to use my old Sprint SIM cards.
Note: YOU DO NOT NEED A SIM CARD.

I got a bunch of them and they came in very good condition. I am going to request sprint to unlock after 50 days and resell after I get the $300 rebate. The resale value should hold since they would be unlocked by then.
In my case the seller was kind enough to send e imei's in advance by email.
