Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Visible will hold an unpaid account in 'Suspend' state for at least 50 days. This allows the owner to make a payment and restart service, it also means you can port out.
i know this i a long shot...but anyone know what is metro policy on this?...how long they hold he number if no bill is paid for following month..

how many days does metro hold the number?

most providers will hold for 60, likely 90 days.

Google is your friend. I'm guessing at least 30 days...

How do you handle reactivations for customers who need to disconnect their service?

If you miss your payment due date, your service will be temporarily interrupted until payment posts to your account. We have no late fee, and your service will automatically be turned on as soon as your payment is applied to your account. The payment date will remain the same for your account, so you may not have as many days that month to use your service before the next payment is due again. If you do not make a payment within 30 days, your phone will be disconnected.

Can I keep my phone number if I have to reactivate my service?

During service suspension, your phone number will not change. However, once your service is disconnected, we cannot guarantee the same number will be available.

I ordered on Mar 14th also. The info about activating within 10 days is in my order confirmation email. See screenshot below.
Thank you for screenshot. I did not get that in any of my emails, might be because i bought a phone. I could not see the screenshot on mobile but on laptop i can see.

Thanks for your response. Adding line later will void 300$ master card offer as we would not be considered new customer.
As long as the 300$ shows in the cart while adding additional lines with port in and from the statement "Sprint offers a $300 Prepaid Mastercard for those who Bring in their Own Eligible Device and Port-in a Number to Sprint w/ Purchase of an Eligible Plan", I don't see why this would be denied.

Rats, thank you
See if you can log in to old account. Maybe add a new line and buy new phones. Worth a try. Then try a no credit check account for existing lines. Maybe use wifes info?

FYR. You can port to GV and use new number from eBay to port in as new number in Sprint.

I'm now just tempted to buy 5 of the cheapest pre-owned phones from Sprint on the Unlimited Plus plan along with the BF $125 per phone CB. I wasn't following all the details on going that route ... so a few questions:

a.) Sprint's pre-owned phones do not include phone numbers correct? I'll still need to buy 5 phone numbers (for ex. ATT on eBay) to port the phones in with?
b.) Can purchase of 5 pre-owned phones and Unlimited Plus be done reliably with the No Credit Check option?
c.) Alternately, anyone know which credit reporting agency Sprint uses? I don't foresee a problem if I need to go with the credit check route, however I'd have to put in a request for the credit reporting agencies to unfreeze my reports, which may take additional time, which is running out.
d.) Is there any way to use my Moto G7 on any of the newly registered 5 line Unlimited Plus accounts? Can I swap out one of the cheap LG Empire/Tribute (or whatever) phones after the service is up and running, or do those phones need to used for the full 90 days to qualify for the promo?
Quote from cardboardbox :
a. No, yes
B. Yes
C. I don't know. Do the no credit check option.
D. No one knows for sure but I would be surprised if you couldn't swap out a device for another.

Looking back over my notes I'm seeing that using the non-credit check inquiry method will not entitle you to the $30 waived activation fee within three bill cycles (gulp).

Can any one confirm/deny this?
Also, any other considerations I should be aware of regarding credit check vs. non-credit check approach?

Target is offering a $30 Target card for activation. So net cost $0, and port those new numbers over to the 2 LG phones on Tuesday

how to tell if my account is no credit account vs credit account? I have no credit check account selected when ordering but it still asks me for SS# (wont go thru so I refresh it and went back to asking my bday only). My new no credit account (or so I thought) has "Spending Limit: $0.00 out of $500.00". Does this mean I created the correct no credit account?

I did no credit check and so far no activation fees.

Yeah, its a no credit account, it didn't ask and you didn't provide SSN so how are they gonna run a credit check without SSN.

IIRC from earlier in the thread, the fee waiver was one of the distinctions between the two types of accounts?
Anyone?

My iPhone X was locked to sprint until Feb 25th. Then I have unlocked it with device payout and switched to mintmobile on March 1. However, when I attempted to swtich to sprint with my device IMEI number, I see the offer is added in my cart. Does that mean I am eligible to get $300 master card?

The $300 MC is supposed to be for new customers. You might want to check how long you have to wait to be considered a new customer again.
The IMEI only indicates that the phone can be activated on Sprint. You could have sold your phone to someone who has never been a Sprint customer.
