Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I am trying to port freedompop number, shared all the detail to Sprint customer representative but he is saying it keep throwing error. Freedompop number is active. I got port out detail from freedompop website port out section. Phone number and Account number mentioned there which i am sharing with representative. Any tips here for successful transfer?

So I'm back, they do allow port ins for Tello with the sales team, they need to override the sprint system but I'd like to take advantage of the be frugal offer. Does anyone know if it is $80 per line? I already received one confirmation for a Mint phone I switched over. So if I switch 4 more over is it an additional $320?

Anyone know of a service I can transfer my tello numbers over so I can complete the process online without having to go through the sales team? Thanks.

I am going to sign up for the 5 lines, but I will only be using 2 lines. Do the other 3 phones have to be in working order or can I just use the IMEI numbers from some old phones that I have that no longer work?

Do I need SIM cards for the 3 lines that I am not going to use? I know I need phone numbers for all 5 lines.

you need to get sim for all the lines even if you are not planning to use so they can be activated

FP should work. Make sure they are getting the info correctly, I think the account number is phone number right? Obvious, but make sure they get it right. And then the PIN. I think FP make take longer as well to actually port.

There's no way around it. You have to call them to clear it. They either flag it by IP, name or street address.

I have been having same problem for several days.

You need Sprint SIM ICCID number for each phone that you plan to port to Sprint.

If rep can't make it work, that FP port ain't gonna work, probably on their old Sprint network. Why not create and port Google Voice number instead?

Since I already have a Credit check account, when I create a no credit check account would it be safer to open it with a variation of my name (say a shorter version), my birth date & maybe use a different address ( my brother's)........would that work?

Has anyone been able to get cashback to work when upgrading to LG Tribute Empire on existing line?

My order last night has not tracked.
I don't think upgrades work. Has to be a "new line of service" for the cb to work.

You can give it a try. I'm not sure what makes the system trigger the flag.

I have successfully ported number from Freedompop to Sprint. Make sure the number you are porting is from the SIM card account (global sim or LTE sim). Those numbers are not from Sprint. Give the account number and pin in the port out page.

I had the 1 year free plan that had a credit check account which expired this January and I ported to Mint Mobile for the last 3 months. Can I use the same name and phone numbers for this deal or should I use another name and get numbers from Ebay?
