Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Thanks. Would it be possible to just cancel her Sprint service as of 4/8 (the last day of our month billing), then the next day (4/9) create a new Sprint account under my name and sign her up for the new plan? I realize that we would not receive the $300 GC and there would likely be a $30 activation fee, but having the unlimited data would still be worth it over the current 1GB she gets for $25.
absolutely.
but do not cancel.
rather u need to port.

just be sure to port to a mvno that is not sprint based.
suggest h20.

if u go via best but kick starter plan for $25...
unless i am mistaken, the new account must be new to sprint..

others , please respond if i have made mistake.

i dont want to give bad info..and i have not really kept up with all teh requirements lately

another option is to port to Visiible.

$25 for first month, and u can evaluate thier serivce which is on verizon.

i tried them , and they were pretty good all around,
althought some have reported less tahn consistent data speeds.

You have at least 50 days from when payment was due.

Did you mean Visible still allows porting number out within 50 days for those accounts in suspended status? No need to contact Visible to release the number or re-activate the service if already had the account number and pin?

There's no way around it. You have to call them to clear it. They either flag it by IP, name or street address.

I have been having same problem for several days.
Look like Sprint flag it by address . I used my nephew info nor his wife did not work but my son info at my address and same ip no problem.

I mean you have at least 50 days from the last day your account was paid for (1st day payment due that was not paid) to port out or reactivate before losing your number. No need to contact them if you already have account and pin.

Thanks, I really appreciate your responses.

All my wife really needs is 2-3 GBs with wifi calling. She works from home, and our home service is spotty no matter the carrier, so wifi calling is important.

I am currently on Tello on one of those 6 month deals from stacksocial, but there is no inbound wifi calling. I'm not a heavy caller so it works for me.

I'll check out Visible. If you or anyone has other suggestions, please let me know!

I have a no credit check account with my actual name and correct address on my billing credit card. I did only one line. Now planning to take credit check account with five lines. I will buy sims from ebay. Planning to buy 5 phones from Sprint (may be 2 pixel and 3 tribute).
Please let me know if I can use same name and address but different email and different credit card with same billing address. Would there be any problem?
Also to add 5 lines do I need to provide names and details of 5 different people?
Do I need to do this from a different IP address?
I am planning to use referral, Bfru CB site and then port.
Please let me know if there are any other things that I need to keep in mind.
Thank you in advance!
save your money & time with sims, the phones from sprint will come with sims.

Visible is Verizon owned and you will get close to regular Verizon speeds for data. In terms of signal quality, it will be the same. For $25 with partypay, its a very good deal for Verizon coverage.

Visible is very good. Tello doesn't allow wifi calling. Porting from Tello to sprint will not give you $300 BYOD/ switch rebate as Tello is on sprint network/ affiliate

Agree. Not sure why they can't have 3 BYOD and 2 order phones from sprint in one order..

So I transferred 5 lines. I used TCB but I made a typo in two numbers so the sprint port rep had to cancel these two lines and put in the right numbers. Will that invalidate TCB as well as the $300 for port in for these 2 numbers? if it does what my options?
The rep just modified the porting request form that is sent to your old carrier. It has nothing to do with your order, so does your CB or rebate. Unless the rep creates a new order for your account. You will get your rebate if this is ported number and you register rebate on time, being a new customer.
