Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I wonder if they will send us a warning about the presign ups?

Like when you sell a phone and somehow your buyer reskus the phone to prepaid without meaning to, he was trying to sign up with sprint, and then u spend the next 5 days working your way up the IT management ladder at Sprint in an effort to fix it, all the while they keep telling me that the phone is prepaid and there's nothing they can do, even though I show them the receipts, show them its an Essential phone that was never sold under their prepaid brands, was never activated on their prepaid brands.... Sigh
