Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Question is. Can you take the physical card to a bank and cash it?
Most rebates cards no.

Someone posted about 100-150 pages back that they were able to.

I don't even know how banks will access this unless you withdraw and most don't allow cash access.

Thanks. So I need to unlock GV number before placing an order on Sprint? I thought I could place order before , after the order passed, I unlock GV number for porting. So it won't save me the fee for unlocking GV number in case my order won't pass.

you can try to place order before you unlock. Let me know if it passes the sprint verification

you can unlock after order completed.

Good idea, I might do the same for my next order.
Haha, I was really upset last week when my Sprint order didn't go through after many tries. because the $20 Ebay number wouldn't be refunded after purchase. I had to use relative's address to complete the order. Now I am thinking to place another order before the deadline using my own info again, but I doubt the order will go through, so paying $20 for Ebay numbers has risk.

how does that work, withdraw at ATM?

I never had Tmobile, so that's why I don't have any experience with it.

I believe the rebates for these are Metabank, usually they don't allow cash out.

they have option to ACH out to your bank.

and I heard some banks allow cash to be withdrawn from the ATM card. Teller has to manually do it.

The TMo offer from late last year only offered a virtual card. I had four cards (four lines). I could only cash out two, as it only allowed a single card per bank routing number. I had to spend the others online.

My backup plan for this offer (I had requested physical card) is to buy Visa gc at Staples. I know I can use them to buy MOs at Walmart. From time to time, Staples even waives the service fee on the purchase of the card.

oh yeah, I'm familiar with the MS route! Smilie

grocery stores too, so you can combine more of these into a single $500 VGC.

Can you expand More in MOs? How do they work?

you can get a sim after you enter an IMEI on the BYOD page. Or order from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Sprint-Sim...B07SWDX7BF

I ordered sunday morning from sprint and they still havent shipped out as of now. Frown
So if one either signs up for BYOD today and/or orders a SIM kit, and the SIM doesn't arrive by the 9th, one is screwed?
