Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

it's the order date that matters. if you've already ordered, you're good.
Thanks. I have 2 not in service sprint phones with sims, the other 3 phone is from T-Mobile. and I'm waiting for those 3 sims to arrive so I can port over. I guess on the April 9th, I should start transfer the 2 that I have in hand and active the rest when the new sims arrive?

Nice way to balance your risk, reduce you anxiety: activate the 2 Sprint phones that you have.
Call porting dept 866-437-1818 or 877-503-3269.

They may even be able to port the 3 Tmobile, if they have shipped SIM numbers on record.

Anybody have experience with Sprint's DOA hardware policy? My Tribute is DOA and I have no intention of letting them screw up my Cashback...will probably have to write it off but just want to check.

No personal experience with that, but there's a sheet of paper in the phone box explaining the 90-day Limited Replacement Warranty and how to file a claim.
Does it not power on? The Tribute has a removable battery and I don't remember if mine came with the battery installed or not. The Moto E6 in the Visible deal has a removable battery and came with the battery not installed, stored under the tray. Someone complained that his was DOA because it wouldn't power on Smilie

I been trying to do my rebate but it's not working either. Did they shut it down?

Looks like Sprint is sending a code to the existing phone number before they can actually complete the port. I bought the phone numbers from ebay. I am planning to use them for port. But now i am worried how can we get the code when they send to those numbers? Anyone encountered this problem?

They send it to the email that you use when you sign up. It's an activation code.

I guess so. I been trying to do my rebates for the past 2 hours and I keep getting an error too. Let's pray that it's up soon or we won't be able to submit our rebates before the deadline.

I think I know what the problem is.

Initially, my shipment was held up and nobody told me, it was on the second day that I called asking WTH. Spent a good 2.5 hours for them to tell me the phone was sold to two different people. Stupid logistics process says to throw an error and wait, and wait and wait.

So finally somebody said they'll fix it, but I'm guessing by fix they forced it to ship but the computer is still messed up. Anyone know how I can check the ICCID on my account (want to match it up to phone)?

My first dance with Sprint. LOL.

The deadline for submitting the rebate is in May, the 10th I think.

try to replace the device, it will show the iccid of the current device. You might need a new IMEI though.

edit: or try to replace the iccid, that page will also should you the current iccid

No, not the activation code. They are sending 6 digit code as an additional security. For ebay numbers we will not have sims right, how can we provide the code back to Sprint when they send that code to these numbers?
