Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Thanks. So it's fine to set up 6 digits?

I ported GV without pin. Other people have reported the same

If I switch a new phone onto one of the BYOD lines, is this going to affect the rebate? In other words, do we have to keep the same phones for all the lines before the rebates are issued?

Thanks.

I set up 4 digit pin and it went smoothly for me. Infact, Sprint Rep just asked account number for GV number and it ported super quickly, however for ATT, I was kept on hold for 15mins
Cool. Thanks.

Think offered expired? It's showing 100 gift card to bring your number to sprint.

You can swap the devices without any problem. This is BYOD i.e. bring your number and/or device, so you are good if you swap the devices.

I still see $300. You might be looking into some different offer or clear your cookies and cache.

Yes, but some people were also getting the response to 'call to complete this order'
Wait, so I can place my order on the phone and still get the BF $back?
I was planning on getting a sim kit from bb and doing BYOD for 1 line on the phone, activating my online account and immediately buying another 4 phones adding them to my newly created account online.

I have a situation here and need help. tried to unlock a google voice phone number for porting, but credit cards were all declined. After several tries, the account was temporarily suspended, WTF. Now my ordered phones will be here in a few hours, but I cannot unlock the number, asked me to provide ID for verification, but who knows how long this may take, I should have ordered Ebay number. What can I do now? FYI, I tried so long and so hard to finally have this Sprint order passed, then come to this unexpected dilemma. I almost fainted.
Is there anyway that I could change GV # to Ebay number at this stage ?

After trying online several times to get past the checkout, I finally called customer care.

The rep generated my account number and took all the details but got stuck since I don't have a sim card. He couldn't order it for me.
But with account number, pin and other info, I was able to create my sprint login and able to login. Any one face similar situation ?

Tomorrow is the last day and sim won't make it in time. Do you guys think, I would still be able to redeem this offer or is it too late ?

Rep is going to call me tomorrow to resolve this. But any ideas ?

As you'll see in shopping cart, $300 offer is tied to line, not phone. For simplicity, activate with imei used during order, then swap as you like.
Thank you for the info. Does it work with no credit check? Trying to save a hard pull

Order ur SIM ASAP. The order date matters not the activation date. So said the representative

Take a deep breath and try to remain calm. Apr 9 is not activation deadline. You have 10 days from receiving phone to complete activation, enough time to resolve this temporary suspension from Google Voice with the help of clever people on this thread.

In the worst outcome, Sprint 30-day satisfaction guarantee means you can return phones for full refund, and also there would be no charge for service you were never able to use.

I just ordered sim separately (without going through the byod promotion), will that order number work ?
