Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Thanks for the response. So when I make the order today,
(1) I need to provide Sprint my Name, SSN, address, my number to be ported in
(2) Sprint runs credit check to verify my identity
(3) I add SIM card in the cart
Thanks again.

1. Try the no credit check option first. You dont need to provide SSN in the port details. All I gave was phone number, account number, and pin.
2. Only if you choose to do the credit check rather than no credit check. They seem to do some basic identity check if doing no credit check.
3. I didnt buy any sims, maybe someone else can answer about the sim.

"Thanks - your "ref" has been registered. We just need to run some checks on your account. Keep your account in good standing for 30 days and your $50 Prepaid Mastercard will be on its way."
I'm wondering how they registered anything without a phone number being entered?

At step 1 above, do you mean I need to provide the account # and pin from my existing carrier today eve though I can't complete the porting today(since I don't have SIM)?
