Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Its not a stupid system, it did exactly what it was designed to do which was to block potential fraud.
Please do NOT use the hotspot to replace home internet. Enough people do it, hotspots will be gone very quickly.

The address being used was associated with a chargeback from Boost Mobile from years ago. Because of that those details were added to a negative list.
Treasury team reviewed and cleaned those records associated with the address.
Nothing wrong with my address. I bought this house in 1980 when it was newly built and only my family live here. I opened acct #1 (my name) and acct #2 (wife's name) using the same address.
