Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Please do NOT use the hotspot to replace home internet. Enough people do it, hotspots will be gone very quickly.
if your phone supports VoLTE then you can make calls and use data. But you need good coverage.
Pro:
1) sprint is unlimited even though I won't use 8gb unless I am streaming musc/video a lot. BUT i love the freedom to do so without worrying about data.
2) I am free from sprint in 4 months after receiving mastercard.
con:
1) We still can't call and access data together on sprint right?
Edit: sprint has VoLTE for iphone 11 now?

Make sure you get a chat script that you will still get the $300 and have them note it on your account. I would do that at least a few times.
VoLTE coverage is depending on the location.
btw what info did they ask you to set up an account without any lines? is it a no credit check account? I'm thinking going that route.

I would think it's 45+ days out of sprint (for the number). And for the 5 for $100 it's DOB or SSN out of Sprint for 45+ days (for same type of account).
And I know you are being extra careful (and thanks for all your input here). . .but if your theory is correct it truly is a crapshoot!!!
Your observation that this is a cautious approach is correct.
Sure, some elements of this deal are a crapshoot, turning on SD-community's, rather than Sprint's interpretation of terms that won't be known for 90 days—but ain't that the fun of Slickdeals?
Hopefully, Sprint's ultimate application of terms will turn out to be as generous as possible and nobody finds themselves in disputation purgatory.
1. Try the no credit check option first. You dont need to provide SSN in the port details. All I gave was phone number, account number, and pin.
2. Only if you choose to do the credit check rather than no credit check. They seem to do some basic identity check if doing no credit check.
3. I didnt buy any sims, maybe someone else can answer about the sim.
search for "no credit check" after you get into sprint.com from a cashback site.
